<p>PURPOSE:To backwash particulates stuck to a filter body, with an intake flow, thereby regenerating this filter body so simply and inexpensively by shifting and switching the filter body alternately between both exhaust and intake zones in the inner part of a casing CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas E discharged out of an engine 3 by way of an exhaust manifold 21 flows into a casing 2 passing through an exhaust inflow pipe 4a of a particulate eliminator 1. Then this exhaust gas E flows into a gas passage 11 of a filter body 8 at an exhaust zone EX, transmitting this side face, whereby particulates P are stuck to the side face and, after being removed, it is cleaned and flows out of an exhaust outflow pipe d On the other hand, the particulate P is transferred to an intake zone IN with the rotation of the filter body 8. In addition, the particulate P is separated from the side face of the gas passage 11 by dint of intake air I flowing from an intake inflow pipe 5a to an intake outflow pipe 5b, and then inhaled in the engine 3. With this constitution, the filter body is thus regenerated.</p> |
