<p>PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus for stripping a tape which enables an automatic operation of tape stripping and a remarkable reduction of the time necessary for the operation. CONSTITUTION:A work W inserted at an end of an apparatus for stripping a tape is transferred by transferring mechanisms 2, 3, 4 to be treated as follows: First, a part of the tape, in the circumferential direction, which is wound on the surface of the work W is cut from the front end of the work W to the position which is separated by a specified distance toward the rear end of the work W by the first cutting mechanism 10. Second, a part of the tape in the circumferential direction is cut to the rear end of the work W by the second cutting mechanism 30. The disks 41, 42 of a tape removing mechanism 40 contact frictionally the whole length of the work W in which a part of the tape in the circumferential direction is cut to remove the rest of the tape in the circumferential direction from the work W.</p> |
