WELDING METHOD FOR SYNTHETIC RESIN COMPONENT

PURPOSE:To weld securely by forming the height of projected sections as a melting margin of the component equal in the pressurizing direction when a synthetic resin component is vibration welded. CONSTITUTION:Ribs 3 as projected sections for melting margins are formed on faces 6 facing each other for the purpose of vibration welding faces 6 and 7 facing each other and forming curved faces on flanges 4 and 5 of a case 1 and a cover 2. The height of the ribs 3 is even and equal in the pressurizing direction P. The amount of molten flashes, therefore, is even in respective sections and welded evenly to make the fixing force even in respective sections and achieve the beautiful finish.
