PURPOSE:To provide the title drive device capable of certainly connecting the connector on a carriage to the contact point of an ink cartridge by a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:When an ink cartridge is mounted on a carriage 30, the respective contact points of an ink jet head are connected to a drive part through the connection pieces 21, 22 on the side of the carriage 30 but the connection pieces 21, 22 are formed from a metal plate having elasticity to be increased in bending quantity. By this constitution, even when an error is generated in the attaching dimension of the ink cartridge to the carriage 30, the connection pieces 21, 22 on the side of the carriage 30 are certainly brought into contact with the contact points on the side of the ink cartridge. |
