PURPOSE:To provide a processing technique for a medical treatment implement and medical treatment waste which can process safely the medical treatment implement and the medical treatment waste. CONSTITUTION:A processor A for medical treatment waste is provided with a washing box 1 provided with a washing chamber 11, a low-tension mercury lamp 2 which is attached to a ceiling part in the washing chamber 11 and emits ultraviolet rays of a wavelength band capable of generating and decomposing ozone, an ozone stirring means 3, an electric heater 4 and a gas changing mechanism 5, and gasifies and eliminates organic matter such as bacteria, virus, etc., adhering to waste by active oxygen generated by decomposition of ozone. |
