PURPOSE:To reduce deformation by setting the deformation due to pressure difference of a cushion material to a specific range when the pressure difference of a molding press is within the range of 20-70kgf/cm<2> and setting the irregularity of thickness deformation quantity and surface hardness to specific values. CONSTITUTION:A cushion material for a molding press is obtained under such a condition that the deformation due to pressure difference of the cushion material becomes the range of 0.01-0.5mm when the pressure difference of the molding press is within the range of 20-70kgf/cm<2> and the irregularity of the thickness deformation quantity of the cushion material is set to + or -0.05mm and the surface hardness of the cushion material is set to 50 deg. or more as Shore A hardness. This cushion material is extremely reduced in deformation after pressing and has good cushioning properties and is rich in durability. |
