PURPOSE:To eliminate dirty and hard operation, by a method wherein the title device is provided with a tuning device on the first traversing device on a truck, a vertical moving device provided through the second traversing device on the turning device and a holding device possessing two holding sheets on a tuning horizontal shaft end. CONSTITUTION:At the time of an exchange, a truck 1 is moved within a space of a printing machine by a rail 2 laid at right angle with the center line of the printing machine. Then a holding device 8 is stretched up to a position of a plate cylinder 10 by operating two sets of traversing devices 3, 5. A holding sheet 9 of the holding device 8 which is adjusted beforehand almost to a height of the plate cylinder 10 is by a vertical moving device 6 is put vertically into the plate cylinder 10 by adjusting an air cylinder and the holding sheet 9 is locked vertically. Then the holding sheet 9 and plate cylinder 10 are pulled in on the truck 1 by the two sets of the traversing devices 3, 5, the holding device 8 is turned in the direction of a depositary of an old form plate by a tuning device 4 and the truck 1 is stopped on the outside of a boundary of the printing machine as the plate cylinder 10 remains supported at right angles with the rail 2. The holding device 8 is stretched outside of the printing machine, the plate cylinder 10 is turned by a tuning device 7 and changed to verticality, put on a fixed depositary by traversing further and removal operation is completed. |
