<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet material conveying device which simplifies and facilitate conveyance and has excellent reliability by driving a grasping part opening/closing mechanism by an opening/closing device when the grasping part opening closing mechanism and a sheet material grasping part pass through the opening/closing device and grasping the sheet material by symmetrically opening and closing the sheet material grasping part through drive of the grasping part opening/closing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A moving part 5 by which grasping part opening/closing mechanisms 3 are coupled to both sides of a sheet material grasping part 2 capable of grasping a sheet material through symmetrical opening and closing and the grasping part opening closing mechanism 3 and the sheet material grasping part 2 are moved, and an opening and closing part 4 are provided. When the grasping part opening/closing mechanism 3 and the sheet material grasping part 2, moved by the moving part 5, pass through the opening/closing device 4, the grasping part opening and closing mechanism 3 is driven by the opening/closing device 4, and a sheet material S is grasped by the sheet material grasping part 2. Since, as noted above, the sheet material is grasped and conveyed by indirectly driving the grasping part opening/closing mechanism, a conveying part is simplified, assembly workability and maintainability are improved, and the coefficient of occurrence of troubles can be reduced.</p> |
