<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a shape controller for an H-shaped steel which can remark ably improve the yield of a product in which a failure cause is in deviation of the web center. CONSTITUTION:A shape recognizing means 10 recognizes the shape of a rolled stock on the outlet side of a universal mill U. A pass line detecting means 20 detects a pass line in a rolling time from a recognized shape. A correction calculating means 30 compares a target pass line stored in a pass schedule controller 3 with the detected pass line, a pass line correction corresponding to the deviation is calculated and a positional correction of a horizontal roll is calculated based on this pass line correction and the thickness of a target web stored in the pass schedule controller 3. A calculating means 7 for the vertical position of the roll calculates pressed up and down positions based on an interval between the rolls of the horizontal roll stored in the pass schedule controller 3 and these pressed up and down positions are corrected by a positional correction calculated by the correction calculating means 30 and transmits it to the horizontal roll driving device.</p> |
