<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an ink composition which has a high hiding power and can give to a fiber aggregate a writing which does not change even after long- term storage and can be fully washed off with water by mixing a heteropoly acid or its salt as a colorant with a solvent. CONSTITUTION:The title composition essentially consists of a colorant and a solvent, and the colorant comprises a heteropoly acid and/or its salt. Presumably because the colorant is an electrolyte easily soluble in water and is a crystalline substance with a formula weight as high as of about 1000-3000, the crystal precipitated on a fiber aggregate after it is applied thereto and the solvent is evaporated is left as a writing on the aggregate and shows a high hiding power. The heteropoly acid and/or its salt does not react with the fiber aggregate and is not fixed thereon, so that the writing can be fully washed off with water.</p> |
