<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently form nearly a circular groove even at high speed and high load by means of cutting with a simple and miniature structure. CONSTITUTION:A tool holding body 14 having a cutter 13 on the top end part, a base body 11 for supporting the tool holding body 14, a pair of link arms 15, 16 extended from the tool holding body 14, a support shaft 25 for pivotally supporting the top end part of the link arm 15 on the base body 11, a first driving crank shaft 17 for pivotally supporting the top end part of the link arm 16, and a second driving crank shaft 18 for reciprocating and oscillating the tool holding body 14 along the inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical work W are provided. The driving crank shaft 18 reciprocates and oscillates the tool holding body 14 by its rotation. The driving crank shaft 17 rotates synchronously to the driving crank shaft 18 to revolve the top end part of the link arm 16 around the rotating shaft center P. The cutter 13 draws nearly a circular orbit when the tool holding body 14 is oscillated on the outward side to the cylindrical work W, and draws nearly a linear orbit when it is oscillated on the returning side.</p> |
