PURPOSE:To obtain a transmission pattern in an economy mode with a simple structure in a mechanical transmission control method and to improve both acceleration performance and fuel consumption in the economy mode. CONSTITUTION:If a predetermined condition is established when an economy mode switch 70 is on, working oil pressure is generated by a solenoid valve 65 with an electric signal from a control unit 80 to be introduced in a shift-lock means 60 of a gear ratio control valve 30, and shiftdown is regulated by this shift-lock means 60 so that, for example, the gear ratio is maintained on the high-speed side to obtain a transmission pattern in an economy mode. |
