PURPOSE:To provide an engaging mechanism between a bottle and its lid, which sufficiently keeps the sealed condition of the bottle after the bottle has been opened, and at the same time, by which the fitting or removing of the lid is easy, and by which the commodity value is improved. CONSTITUTION:The title engaging mechanism consists of a bottle 1 with an ovalshaped bottle mouth, and a lid 2 with a rectangular shape, which is turnable with a small angle relatively to the bottle mouth, under the lid 2 is fitted on the bottle mouth. On external side wall 8 which corresponds with the longer diameter, a shorter diameter of the bottle mouth, a first protuberance 5 is provided, and on the inner wall of the lid 2, a second protuberance 6, which moves on the lower surface 10 of the first protuberance 5 accompanying with a turning motion, is provided. |
