PURPOSE:To provide an ink ribbon for thermal transfer capable of obtaining an image which is high in printing density and clear though paper of low surface smoothness is used for a facsimile. CONSTITUTION:In an ink ribbon for thermal transfer wherein heat fusible ink is stuck to a base material film surface, viscosity of the ink is 200-500cP at 100-130 deg.C, 1000-2000cP at 90 deg.C, 7000-13000cP at 75 deg.C. Then, at least 10wt.% of wax in an ink composition is especially tolylene diisocyanate modifide oxide wax. |
