PURPOSE:To provide continuous recording paper characterized by a diminished inclination in all positions in the width direction of a paper machine of paper that is folded and piled up after thermal printing and by decreased troubles such as paper clogging in the stacker (a paper discharge part) of a printing machine. CONSTITUTION:The factors of paper are so controlled that the sum of the orientation angle theta (S) of the surface and the orientation angle theta (W) of the back of the paper is within 12 degrees, and the absolute value of the difference between the orientation angles of the surface and back of the paper is within 8 degrees while the difference between the maximum and minimum values of the aspect raitos in the width direction of the paper is preferably 0.05 or less. More desirably, the paper is prepared by using a twin-wire former. Thus, continuous recording paper with a diminished inclination phenomenon after thermal printing is provided. |
