PURPOSE:To obtain a stable composition which can form a coating film excellent in appearance, film properties, weathering resistance, etc., when applied to a difficultly coatable plastics by modifying an acrylic copolymer with a chlorinated polyolefin resin and an epoxy resin and mixing the obtained product with an aromatic petroleum resin. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is prepared by modifying 100wt.% acrylic copolymer (A) prepared by copolymerizing 50-99wt.% alkyl methacrylate with 1-4C alkyl with 0.1-10wt.% vinyl monomer containing at least one group selected from among carboxyl, sulfonic and phosphoric groups, 0-30wt.% hydroxylated monomer and another copolymerizable monomer and having a hydroxyl value of 50mgKOH/g or below with 5-40wt.% chlorinated polyolefin resin (B) of a chlorine content of 15-50% and 0.5-5wt.% epoxy resin (C) of an epoxy equivalent of 400 or below, and mixing the product with 3-15wt.% aromatic petroleum resin (D) and 0-20wt.% cross-linking agent (E). |
