PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of high accuracy required for a combustion device by arranging a breakable seal member at the opening section and blowout port of a combustion container so as to perform moisture-proof of a gas generating agent and to be broken while the gas generating agent is operated. CONSTITUTION:A combustion chamber 14 comprises an inner cylindrical section 14b, outer cylindrical section 14C, combustion chamber 5, and lid member 21, and the inner cylindrical section 14b has an opening 28 to introduce the blaze of an igniter to a combustion chamber 15, and a seal tape 30 is stuck to the opening 28. In addition, the outer cylindrical section 14c has a blowout port 31 to blow out the combustion gas of gas generating agent 15, and a seal tape 30 is similarly stuck to the blowout port 31. Each seal tape is used as a breakable thin wall, serves for moisture-proofing of the gas generating agent 15 while a gas generator is not operated, and is broken to allow combustion gas to spout while the gas generator is operated. Due to this structure, unlike a thin wall canister container, high dimensional accuracy is not required and production becomes easy, and due to sufficient strength, damaging is prevented, securing the normal operation of an air bag. |
