PURPOSE:To easily read data provided with comparatively large pieces of information by assembling a checker code reader in the main body of information equipment such as an electronic notebook, a word processor, or a personal computer, etc. CONSTITUTION:The reading of a checker coder is started by sliding by pressing a business card 4 on the inner part of a groove on which the checker coder reader is attached located at the left part of the electronic notebook. The tip of the business card 4 presses up a reverse chevron type switch 9, which puts on a light emitting element 8. Light emitted from the light emitting element 8 illuminates the checker code, and reflected light passes a short focusing lens 7, and is sent to a CCD 6. The innermost part of the CCD 6 always monitors the passage of a timing bar, and in a moment when the timing bar passes, the pattern of the checker code is fetched in a decoder 5. The pattern fetched in the decoder is collated with a code decided in advance, and data conversion is performed, then, it is sent to memory. Data by one business card can be generated by repeating such operation. |
