Rear foot for an aiming telescope mounting

A rear foot for the pivoting mounting of an aiming telescope on a gun barrel, a retaining tab being arranged on the gun barrel and a lock, which consists essentially of two elements, being mounted on the aiming telescope. The lock consists of a baseplate and a bolt plate which can move in one direction with respect to the baseplate. A spring which holds the bolt plate in the closed position is provided between the baseplate and the bolt plate. During inward pivoting, the bolt plate is pushed out of the closed position into the insertion position by means of a limb which is mounted on the bolt plate, as a result of which the aiming telescope can be fastened.
