PURPOSE:To completely carry out water draining and simultaneously make retention of water content in grains after dipping uniform by providing a sucking means or an air feed means for air through a grain layer in a tank for dipping a raw material of grains, etc., to the tank. CONSTITUTION:Sucking means 7 and 9 from the bottom or air feed means 10 from the top is provided to a tank 1 for dipping a raw material such as grains so as to pass air through grain layer in the tank. Thereby water drain is completely carried out and uniform water content is retained in the upper layer of grains after dipping as well as lower layer thereof.
