PURPOSE:To make lips touch a sliding window glass under a fixed pressure, to make the slide of the sliding window glass smooth and to prevent penetration of rain, by providing such formation in which lip length varies in response to a gap change between a molding body and the sliding window glass. CONSTITUTION:A weatherstrip molding 6 is formed in such a manner as lengths of lips 11, 12 vary in response to the change of a gap L. The lips 11, 12 are formed in such a way as tips reach the standard position G of a slide window glass 2 in the standard distance, their lengths are made short in such a way that the tips reach the positions 11b, 12b in the short distance not reaching the standard position G and their lengths are long in such a way that they reach the positions 11c, 12c exceeding the standard position G in the position of long distance. As the lengths of the lips 11, 12 vary in response to gap change between a molding body 7 and the sliding window glass 2 in the attached state, pressure of the lips 11, 12 to the sliding window glass 2 becomes nearly constant substantially through longitudinal direction. |
