PURPOSE:To automatically remove unedible midgut gland, gonad, etc., from boiled and stripped bivalve meat and to increase the productivity by clamping the mantle, separating the mantle from the adductor muscle and removing the ancillary organs around the adductor muscle by sucking with a suction nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The adductor muscle 1 of a boiled and stripped bivalve meat is held by sucking, a part of the mantle 2 of the meat is clamped and the clamped part is rotated around the adductor muscle relative to the outer circumference of the adductor muscle to peel off the mantle from the adductor muscle. A cut line extending from the outer side of the gonad 3 to the biomembrane 4 is applied toward the center of the adductor muscle and the suction nozzle 8 is made into contact with the cut edge and moved along the outer circumference of the adductor muscle to suck and remove the ancillary organs around the adductor muscle. |
