PURPOSE:To provide the laser beam machine which controls processing conditions in correspondence to relative moving speeds by the shape of a processing part. CONSTITUTION:The plural relative moving speeds A1a, A1b, A1c of a processing head 3 and a work are set in a controller 6 of the three-dimensional laser beam machine 1 and condition tables A1a', A1b', A1c' set with the respective optimum processing conditions according to the magnitudes of the respective relative moving speeds are set therein. A processing speed commuting section 8 of the controller 6 computes the virtual relative moving speeds of the processing head and the work from the input values inputted thereto by a teaching operation. A processing condition selecting section 9 selects the optimum relative moving speeds, for example, A1a and the condition table A1a', from the condition tables according to the magnitudes of the virtual relative moving speeds computed by the above-mentioned processing speed computing section 8. The controller 6 executes laser beam processing in accordance with the selected relative moving speed A1a and the processing conditions of the condition table A1a' corresponding thereto. |
