PRODUCTION OF CASTING MOLD

PURPOSE:To produce the ceramic mold for metal casting which precisely templates the shape of the master model of a product shape to detail parts. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic slurry is injected into a rubber mold 3 formed on the basis of the mater model 1 to form the ceramic mold 4. The unreleased ceramic mold 7 having both molds in a mated state is imposed on a pressure reducing stationary plate 8 by positioning the base of the rubber mold downward. A moving plate 11 is fixed to the ceramic mold. The moving plate is moved upward while the base of the rubber mold 3 is attracted to the pressure reducing stationary plate 8 by subjecting the pressure reducing plate 8 to vacuum evacuation, by which the ceramic mold 4 is taken out of the rubber mold 3 and is released. Thus the releasing of the mold to take the ceramic mold out of the rubber mold is smoothly executed without breaking the ceramic mold and the ceramic mold faithfully copying the shape of the produced to the detail parts is obtd.
