PURPOSE:To contrive the recycle of used papers to produce the moldings for use as cushioning, heat insulating and acoustic materials instead of being used in land reclamation or incinerated for disposal in order to prevent natural destruction or environmental pollution and reduce the amount of oil consumption. CONSTITUTION:Ground used papers and an adhesive agent 2 are mixed together, the resulting mixture is compressed into the form of a sheet which is then dried, such a sheet is cut or crushed into the pieces as in the form of a block 1, an adhesive agent 2 is again added to such pieces and the resulting mixture is introduced into a mold and dried to obtain the molding of a desired shape. The ground used papers and the adhesive agent 2 may be mixed together, while shredded used papers are being added thereto. Concerning the adhesive agent 2, the use of an inexpensive, microbiologically decomposable natural adhesive agent is preferred. |
