<p>PURPOSE:To enable recovery of exhaust gas energy by means of a generator with efficiency by providing an energy recovery device which has the generator, a turbocharger which has a compressor, and a waste gate which is arranged on an outlet passage of a first turbine. CONSTITUTION:An energy recovery device 2 having a generator 7 is arranged on a first stage of an exhaust passage 5 of an engine 1, while a turbocharger 3 having a compressor 9 is arranged on a second stage in order to supercharge to the engine 1. A waste gate 4 is arranged on an outlet side passage 10 of a first turbine 6 of the energy recovery device 2. As a result, it is possible to recover exhaust gas energy by the energy recovery device 2 under a high temperature condition of the exhaust gas. When a high boost condition is brought about, the waste gate 4 is released for discharging the exhaust gas. In such a case, the exhaust gas is previously recovered in its energy by the energy recovery device 2 under a high temperature condition, so that energy loss is reduced. Recovery efficiency of the exhaust gas energy is not deteriorated, accordingly.</p> |
