<p>PURPOSE:To produce an air purifying article purifying contaminated air containing malodorous gases represented by NH3 or H2S. CONSTITUTION:A porous material composed of synthetic zeolite having pores with a pore size of 3-13Angstrom , gamma-alumina having pores with a pore size of 50-1000Angstrom or a water-resistant silica gel having pores with a pore size of 100-600Angstrom is used as a carrier and colloidal fine metal copper particles is supported on the carrier to obtain the objective air purifying article Otherwise, the air purifying article is produced by dipping the above-mentioned porous material in an aqueous solution containing a Cu-salt and N2H4 or NaBH4 and drying the impregnated porous material or dipping the porous material in an aqueous Cu-salt solution and subsequently dipping the same in an aqueous solution of N2H4 or NaBH4 before drying.</p> |
