PURPOSE: To obtain a polymer film having a layered mineral showing an oxygen barrier property and improved adhesion of a layered mineral coating layer on a substrate by providing a coating layer consisting of a resin-containing composition obtained from a layered mineral and an cross-linking agent on a substrate of a polymer material. CONSTITUTION: A polymer film is constituted by providing a coating layer 2 formed from a resin-containing composition comprising a layered mineral and a cross-linking agent on at least one surface 3 of a substrate layer 1 consisting of a polymer material. At that time, the coating layer 2 is composed of a layer consisting of 10 to 90% by weight layered mineral and a layer obtained from 10 to 90% by weight cross-linking agent. In the manufacture, the coating layer 2 is applied on at least one surface 3 of the substrate 1. Thereby a polymer film having a layered mineral showing an oxygen barrier property and improved adhesion of a layered mineral coating layer on a substrate is obtained.
