PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic radial tire devised to minimize slippage of a steering wheel from the time when a tire is new through to the time when the tire is worn out concerning the tire provided with sipes to be inclined on a shoulder part of a tread surface at least. CONSTITUTION:On a pneumatic radial tire arranging a plural number of belt layers 2, 2a inside of a tread part 1 and arranging. a plural number of sipes 6a, 6b inclined in the tire meridian direction at least on a shoulder part 7 of a tread surface, a plural number of the sipes 6, 6a, 6b are arranged so that the, sipes 6a inclined in a range of 5 to 45 degrees in the tire meridian direction and the sipes b inclined in a range of 5 to 45 degrees in the opposite direction are reciprocally arranged in the tire circumferential direction. The groove depth of the sipes 6a inclined in the same direction as cords 3 of the belt layer 2a on the extreme outside of the belt layers 2 and the tire meridian direction is made shallower than the depth of the sipes 6b inclined in the opposite direction. |
