PURPOSE:To detect the lowering tendency of the tension of the blade of a slicing machine, in which the blade is given tension for cutting, for the correct judgment of the time for the adjustment of the tension and the life of the blade by detecting the vibration of the blade and by monitoring the change in the specific frequencies calculated from the wave forms. CONSTITUTION:A blade 1 equipped with an inner-diameter blade 3 is given an initial tension in the outside radial direction by a tension regulating mechanism. A distance sensor (a device for detecting vibration) is arranged at the position confronting the blade face 1b. The output signals of the sensor are led to a Fourier-transform device 7 through a sensor amplifier 6 for the frequency analysis, and the power spectrum is displayed on a monitor 8. In the spectrum displayed in which a peak value variable corresponding to the imbalance and the number of revolution of the blade 1 is removed, a peak value indicates the specific frequency. Since the frequency is variable corresponding to the tension of the blade, monitoring the change in the specific frequencies can afford the correct time for the adjustment of the blade tension. |
