发明名称 CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICULAR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
摘要 PURPOSE:To practice speed reduction lock up only while reducing speed when improvement effect of fuel consumption is outstanding by measuring the time of vehicle speed staying in the lock up region while not reducing speed, and by inhibiting the lock up controlling while reducing speed if the measured time is less than the specified time. CONSTITUTION:The time of vehicle speed staying in the lock up region during no reduction of speed is measured with a timer TM. At the time of changing over from a non-speed reduction condition to a speed reduction condition comparison is made between the value of the timer TM and the preset specified value TM1. In the case of TM <= TM1, lock up during speed reduction is to be inhibited. In other words, it is judged that the effect of fuel consumption improvement by means of lock up during speed reduction can not be expected because fuel cut can be hardly effected even if lock up control is practiced during speed reduction because drop of engine speed is too fast. Thus operativeness of a vehicle can be improved.
