<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a coolant flow controller for a clutch, which can minimize the friction torque generated by a coolant not completely discharged from a disk to make gear shifting after that. CONSTITUTION: In a controller for coolant flow 48 of a clutch 12 with a coolant actuated by oil pressure, a coolant control valve 76 is controlled so as to block the coolant flow to the clutch 12 during engaging or disengaging the clutch 12 and to open the coolant flow to the clutch 12 during engaging motion of the clutch 12 and, if necessary, covering a prescribed time interval T1 following the engaging motion. However, the coolant control valve 76 opens the coolant flow to the clutch 17 also during disengaging motion only when the condition during the disengaging keeps longer than a prescribed second time interval T2.</p> |
