<p>PURPOSE:To provide a repairing member for a pipe which can be fused without having effects of a fluid pressure, and a repairing method for repairing securely and easily. CONSTITUTION:A repairing member 1 curved to be jointed to an outer circumferential surface of a pipe 2 and a coil 11 to generate heat by energization embedded on its inner surface side has a choke cap 12 protruded at an inner surface center part to be engaged with a small hole 21 bored in the pipe 2. The small hole 21 with which the choke cap 12 of the repairing member 1 is engaged is provided at a position of the pipe 2 at a specified interval from a damaged part upstream or downstream of it, and an expansion cap is inserd from this small hole 21 to stop flow of fluid, the damaged part is cut, a new pipe is connected, and the expansion cap is eliminated from the small hole 21. The choke cap 12 is then engaged with this small hole 21, and after the repairing member 1 is applied to an outer circumferential surface of the pipe 2, the coil 11 is energized, thereby the repairing member 1 is fused to the pipe 2 for repairing it.</p> |
