PURPOSE:To provide thermal transfer material comprising heat resistant protective layer having excellent lubricating property and heat resistance without curing process such as heating and aging. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer material having a thermal transfer ink layer provided on a base film comprises a heat resistant protective layer containing a polyamino silicone bismaleimide on the back face of the base film. Accordingly, despite that curing process such as heating and aging at manufacturing the heat resistant protective layer is not necessary, the thermal transfer material wherein troubles due to sticking phenomenon do not occur during recording, foreign matters do not stick to a thermal head avoiding abrasion or damage, and which is preservable even under high temperature and high moisture, can be obtained. |
