PURPOSE:To keep a relative distance between a welding head and a material to be welded constant regardless of an influence of the external force on a frame of a welding machine. CONSTITUTION:A quantity of distortion of the frame 1 housing the welding head 4 is measured and a quantity of deflection of the frame 1 is obtained from the measured value and the relative distance between the welding head 4 and the material to be welded S is properly adjusted by moving the welding head 4 up and down based on this quantity of deflection. |
