<p>PURPOSE: To provide a patient valve for a cardiopulmonary tester, which is manufactured at a low cost, discarded after used, cross-pollution-preventive for a patient and improved to be easily assembled in the cardiopulmonary tester even by an unexperienced person. CONSTITUTION: A multifunctional patient valve comprises a flexible, elastic and cross-shaped tubular body 12 molded and the first and second selectively operable fasteners 34, 36 for a crossing strip 16 cooperating with a stem 14. When these fasteners 34, 36 are selectively operated to squeeze the stem 14, the flow of gas crossing the squeezed area can be shut off.</p> |
