PURPOSE:To always enable the starting of a press at an optimum position without changing the setting of press starting position even if moving speed of a feeder is changed. CONSTITUTION:In a press feeder line for carrying a work 4 at interval between plural sets of the presses 1 tandem-arranged, a distance from the preset press starting position to a feeder stopping position is calculated from the preset time until when the feeder 2 is stopped to the stopping position from the press starting position, and the obtd. distance data and the positional data detected from the feeder 2 are compared, and by outputting the press starting signal at the time when the data are matched with each other the press 1 is started without changing the setting of the press 1 starting position even if the moving speed of the feeder 2 is changed. |
