PURPOSE:To compensate the roughness of an image plane in a liquid crystal projector, and improve the image quality. CONSTITUTION:In a liquid crystal projector 29 formed of a light source part 30, a liquid crystal pane 134, and a projecting lens 37, a reflecting mirror rotating mechanism 1 into which a reflecting mirror 11 rotated by electromagnets 17, 17' is integrated is arranged between the liquid crystal panel 34 and the projecting lens 37, and the reflecting mirror 11 is rotated synchronously with the vertical synchronous signal of a video signal, whereby the video signals of odd field and even field are displayed by the same picture element of the liquid crystal panel 34, each field is alternately displayed timewise, and the projecting position on a screen 38 of the image of each field is vertically shifted by one line synchronously with the vertical synchronous signal of the video signal. |
