The apparatus automates the process of manufacturing the artificial lotus flower leof attached to the lotus lamp used for a Buddhist parade event. The automatic apparatus comprises a shaft (2), positioned in an inner face of a base frame (1), for inserting rolled narrow paper bundle (3); a water sprayer (4) fixed at an upper part of the shaft (2); a driving gear (6) driven by a motor (4); a cam plate (7) rotated by the driving gear (6); a folding device (9) including a grooved drum (15) and a pressing roller (19) with protrusions (18); a curving device (21) including a roller (24) with protrusions, pressing rollers (30,31) and a heating roller (27); a twisting and cutting device (42).
