Device which relates to the automatic control and monitoring of access to and departure from a bicycle shed. In this device, two lockable swing barriers, which are positioned one behind the other, for allowing access to people drive, via a differential drive, two swing barriers which are positioned one behind the other for allowing access to bicycles or mopeds, these swing barriers only allowing the people, bicycles and mopeds to pass through in one direction. The drive may in this case be effected in various ways.
