Magnetic sensor holder with injection moulded housing - contains holder with positioning aperture for holding sensor arrangement in place during injection process

The magnetic sensor holder contains a sensor arrangement (1) and an injection moulding material enclosing it to form its outer housing (2). The sensor arrangement contains a magnet (3), iron core (4) and detector coil (5) and holder (6). The coil is wound around the core and detects changes in the magnetic flux. The iron core has one end protruding from the injection moulding material. The holder has a positioning aperture which positions and holds the sensor arrangement in place during the injection process. USE/ADVANTAGE - Some difficulties of conventional arrangements are eliminated, e.g. inaccurate positioning leading to measurement inaccuracies. Eg for producing an ignition timing signal in internal combustion engine.
