New organopolysiloxanes (I) contg. acylthiourea gps. consist of units of formula (1) (where R1 = opt. NO2-substd. phenyl or 1-3C alkyl; R2 and R3 = units of formula R4-SiO3/2 (2), in which the free valencies of the O atoms are satisfied by Si atoms of other units of this type and/or Si atoms of amine units of formula N(R2)(R3)(R5) (3) and/or by crosslinking SiO4/2, R'SiO3/2, R'2SiO2/2, TiO4/2, R'TiO3/2, R'2TiO2/2, AlO3/2 or R'AlO2/2 gps.; R' = Me or Et; R4 = 1-10C alkylene, 5-8C cycloalkylene, -(CH2)n-cyclohexylene-(CH2)0-6 or -(CH2)n-phenylene-(CH2)0-6; n = 1-6; R5 = H or as R2 and R3; the ratio of Si atoms in (1) and (3) to bridging Si, Ti and Al atoms = 1:0-10). (I) are produced by, e.g. reacting a polymeric organosiloxanamine (II) of (3) units with an isotyiocyanate of formula R1-C(=O)-NCS (4) in the presence of an organic solvent (1-5C alcohol or acetone) at room temp. or up to 200 deg.C and normal or a higher pressure, corresp. to the sum of the partial pressures at the temp. concerned; sepg. (I) from the liq. phase; washing with a suitable solvent; and then drying at room temp. to 200 deg.C in air or under protective gas or in vacuo.
