The replaceable cartridge (1) has, on its top side, an inflow sieve (9) with pref. rectangular-sectioned holes (10), on a lid (8) closing it, and has an outflow-sieve (3) with pref. rectangular sectioned outlet-holes (4) on its base. The flat inflow sieve slopes slightly at an angle of 15 to 30, pref. 22 deg. to the water-level (38). The topmost part (33) of the inflow sieve has a wall (49) as part of the lid and ending in a rim (51) forming a tight seal with the container (2) rim (7). The cartridge has an outer sealing-lip (17) on the container or lid wall (48). The lid has air-removal vents (14). The container has side-discharge holes (12) near the outflow sieve.
