MECHANICAL IMMEDIUM FILTER FOR LIQUID FILTRATION

The mechanical imedium filter is used in the production of filtering equipment. Its use increases two-threefold the linear velocity of liquid filtration and increases the productivity. The properties of the filtrate are better or paramount to the familiar mechanical imedium filters. It consists of a body (1) with a pipe-communication connection and a filtering packing (2), at least one of the packing components have ferromagnetic properties. A solenoid magnet (3) with a permanent magnetic field, forming a static fluid-like layer, is placed around the body (1) in the topmost part of the packing (2). The filtration packing (2), composed of versatile grain size and density, contains in its topmost section a ferromagnetic layer, whose thickness corresponds to the range of the permanent magnetic field of the solenoid magnet (3).<IMAGE>
