The machine forms fixing (14) or valve (16) drillings in the dish (12) and rim (11) sections of a vehicle wheel (10), some at least of them being inclined to the wheel axis (13). A jig clamps the wheel in position, and the tool (40) is motor-driven. Drives are provided for tilting the jig with wheel on an axis inclined to the wheel axis in relation to a table. This axis can be arranged to intersect the wheel axis at right angles.
