PURPOSE:To improve resistance to light fading of a yellow dye image, by adding a specified compd. to a layer contg. a specified yellow dye or pigment and/or its adjacent layer. CONSTITUTION:A compd. having formula II in which R9 is H, alkyl, or aryl; R10, R11 are each alkyl; X is alkylene or arylene; and Y is alkylene (B) is added to a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a yellow dye having formula I and/or its adjacent layer formed on a support (A). In formula I , R1 is alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, or a heterocyclic group; R2 is halogen, alkoxy, or aryloxy; R3-R5 are each H, halogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy, aryl, or the like; R6 is H or alkyl; R7, R8 are each unsubstd. alkyl or alkyl substd. by a solubilizing group, but the case where R6 is methyl and R7, R8 are each ethyl is excluded. As a result, deviation of color balance due to light fading of three dyes can be improved. |
