DERIVATIVES OF ARYLGLYCINE PENICILLINS AND METHOD FOR THEIR PREPARATION

The compounds are derivatives of ampicillin and may be applied in the humane and veterinary medicine as medications against bacterial infections. The probability of resistance against them is lower compared to the known antibiotics. They have the following general formula:<IMAGE>where R is H or OH. The derivatives are prepared through acylation of the amino group of ampicillin, respectively amoxicillin, with 2,4-dimethyl-5-acetyl-3-carboxypyrrole and alkylchloroformiate.
