PURPOSE:To damp the axial vibrations of inner and outer tubes through shearing deformation of resilient body and fluidity of liquid, by providing a liquid chamber enclosing liquid between inner and outer tubes coupled through resilient body while forming a restricting path in axial direction in the liquid chamber. CONSTITUTION:Inner and outer tubes 1, 2 are coupled liquid-tightly through resilient members 3, 4 then liquid is enclosed in the seat partitioned by them to form a liquid chamber 5. Then a partition wall 10 is secured to the outer tube 2 in said liquid chamber 5 to split said chamber 5 axially into two thus to form a restricting path 11 in axial direction over the entire circumference of inner tube 1 with the innercircumferential edge 10a and the inner tube 1. Consequently, upon application of upward vibration displacement A onto the inner tube 1, for example, a portion of said displacement can be damped through shearing deformation of resilient members 3, 4, especially of their resilient material 8, while the remainder can be damped through fluidity of liquid enclosed in the liquid chamber 5 resulting in improvement of damping effect. |
