Process and devices for gas dedusting at elevated temperatures.

A process is described for dedusting gases by electrofiltration at temperatures of more than 400 DEG C, which process involves passing the hot dust-containing gas through at least one channel which is bounded by a tubular precipitation electrode or by two plate-shaped precipitation electrodes and in which at least one emission electrode is positioned centrally. The process is characterised in that the precipitation electrodes consist of ceramic material and, on the faces which face the emission electrodes, have an electrically conductive layer of metals or alloys, and in that the emission electrodes have a tubular or plate-like shape. In addition, three devices are described for carrying out the process.
