Touch foil keyboard front plate - has transparent layers with diaphragms carrying contacts closing through opening of foil

Flush keyboard of the front plate in control of electric or electronic equipment has the keys totally protected against ingress of dust or humidity. The keyboard is illuminated through the transparent support (8) while the laminated front plate has the top layer of transparent plastic providing the required text. The similarly transparent diaphragm (3) is attached to the conductive layer (4) with gold plated contacts whereas the spacer foil (5) controls spacing between contacts. The foil exhibits openings for contact forming between diaphragms (4,6).
